Today we dug holes for the chicken run fence posts. Despite the cold it was a group activity. There was a bit of digging and plenty of curious onlookers.
Luckily when you can't find a tape measure, you can use the kids. The littlest is exactly 3 feet - I call that a moveable yard stick.
